21 Jump Street Female Reboot21 Jump Street is coming back with female version. Broad City writers Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs have been hired to write spin-off script. 21 Jump Street was released on March 16, 2012 directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller but this time Sony develops the film with different story with varied characters similar in the plot and concept.

The Wrap reported that – Sony makes it’s plan with a female-centric Ghostbusters after success of 2012 and 2014 series, 22 Jump Street. In the new comedy movie Aniello and Downs makes the story drastically spin-off.

22 Jump Street will be produced by Neal Moritz, an American film producer, will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Like previous version 22 Jump Street has the same chronology characterized by Johnny Depp, Holly Robinson and Peter DeLuise with new star Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.

Co-director Philip Lord said the difference of 21 Jump Street with 22 Jump Street, “We’ve found a way that we love that makes those imagined sequels canonical and yet does something that we haven’t told you about yet.” He added on another interview, “Rodney Rothman is off writing a script. He had a really outrageous idea for what to do, and how we could take our scorched-earth sequel policy from the end of 22 Jump Street and do something that hadn’t been explored in those 22 sequels and simultaneously tell the next chapter in the story.”

Sony earns already over $530 million from the last two Jump Street. Now Sony working for 21 Jump Street and Men in Black.
