Amber Heard and Johnny Depp settled at $7 Million

Amber Heard and Johnny have reached a divorce settlement out of court at $7 Million, just three days after Heard sat down for a deposition, as confirmed by TMZ.

Depp subsequently began dating actress and model Amber Heard in 2012; they met on the set of The Rum Diary. They married in February 2015, in a private civil ceremony at their home in Los Angeles. Heard filed for divorce in May 2016.

Since their split, they have both kept busy with their successful careers. Johnny has been touring the world with his band “The Hollywood Vampires over the summer”, and Amber has been filming for her upcoming film, “The Justice League”.

According to the site, Johnny agreed to pay his former wife approximately $7 million and the actress dismissed her domestic violence restraining order petition against Depp, a petition she can never refile as it was “dismissed with prejudice.”

When Heard filed for divorce in mid-May, they delivered a joint statement: Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity.

The statement concluded there will be no further public statements about this matter.

On the other side, Heard’s attorneys, Samantha Spector and Joseph Koenig, issued additional clarifications. They said they were very pleased that that matter had been settled and Amber had been vindicated in the Court of Public Opinion. The case was incredibly challenging and demanding on everyone involved, but mostly on Amber who showed great grace and strength under fire. It was an honor to represent her.

According to court documents, Heard presented a photograph of herself as proof which shows what appear to be hurts around her right eye. The judge ordered Depp to stay 100 yards away from Heard and also gave Heard the right to live in the family home.

Heard initially requested $50,000 per month, however, her attorney filed a declaration to withdraw the actress’ temporary spousal request.
