Chrissy Teigen criticizes to the Lack of “Diverse” among Miss Teen USA 2016 Finalists

Chrissy Teigen, an American model, has reacted to the 2016 Miss Teen USA competition result. She could not find much diversification among the Miss Teen USA 2016 finalists.

Miss Teen USA 2016, the 34th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 30, 2016. The 51 ladies competing for the crown were downsized to a final five that included Hay’s runner-up Miss North Carolina Emily Wakeman, second runner-up Miss South Carolina Marley Stokes, followed by Miss Alabama Erin Snow and Miss Nevada Carissa Morrow. Katherine Haik of Louisiana crowned her successor Karlie Hay of Texas, at the end of the event.

Chrissy Teigen made her debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010 and, alongside Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge, appeared on the cover in 2014. She co-hosts Lip Sync Battle with LL Cool J on Spike TV and joined the lifestyle panel talk show FABLife.

When the Miss Teen USA pageant Twitter account shared a celebratory photo of the top five finalists, Teigen noticed that each competitor shared a few similarities when it came to their looks.

“Wow how can we choose from such a diverse bunch,” the model joked of the potentially eyebrow-raising moment.

Teigen then followed up with another tweet. Chrissy Teigen criticizes to the Lack of “Diverse” Miss Teen USA 2016 Finalists.

“It’s fiiiiiine,” she wrote, adding, “Not their fault. I’m sure they are delightful women. Just funny. I’m not gonna write a think-piece on a damn pageant.”

Chrissy wasn’t the only one to seemingly criticize the judge’s choices. There are many twitter users also retort to the result of Miss Teen USA 2016.
