Jennifer Lawrence Tops The World's Highest-Paid Actresses 2016Jennifer Lawrence is the world’s highest paid actress for the second year in a row according to Forbes annual list of highest paid actress. She earned near about $46 million before taxes over 12 months more than $13 million from the second highest paid actress Melissa McCarthy, who banked $33 million.

Forbes stated most of Jennifer Lawrence income comes from her final The Hunger Games film and her forthcoming movie Passengers and her films have received over $5 billion worldwide. Although her total income goes down 11.5% from 2015 net income but she remains the girl on fire.

McCarthy stands second position with $33 million this year with her eight-figure payday for Ghostbusters. The comedian earned $10 million much of her last year total income. Scarlett Johansson picked up the third spot of the world’s highest paid actress 2016 with $25 million according to Forbes.

McCarthy told Forbes, “I started to think if I could do anything to build women up rather than the constant tear down I’m going to do it.”

Jennifer Aniston earned $21 million and spot at No. 4, Fan Bingbing grabbed the fifth place with $17 million, Charlize Theron took the sixth spot with $16.5 million, Amy Adams took the seventh spot with $13.5 million, Julia Roberts took the eighth spot with $12 million, Mila Kunis took the ninth spot with $11 million and Bollywood star Deepika Padukone took the tenth spot with $10 million.

In conjunction with the top 10 World’s Highest-Paid Actresses of 2016 earned $205 million (before fees and taxes) between June 1, 2015 – June 1, 2016. Some big actress including Sandra Bullock, Angelina Jolie and Kristen Stewart dropped-off from this year’s top 10 ranking. According to Forbes, “estimates are based on data from Nielsen, Box Office Mojo, IMDb, as well as interviews with agents, managers and lawyers.”

The list of world’s highest-paid actors will be published on Thursday, August 25. Last year Robert Downey Jr. has topped the Forbes list of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors 2015 at $80 million between June 2014 to June 2015.
