Kate and WilliamKate Middleton and Prince William are not only popular in England they loved by millions in the United States. The royal couple recently arrived in New York City for a three-day visit packed with numerous outings and events. Known formally as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge the duo touched down to a throng of adoring fans.

After a seven-hour flight on British Airways, the coupled landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Looking fresh and impeccably styled, Kate wore a gorgeous burgundy Seraphine coat over a dress and black gloves while William was dapper in a signature suit with blue tie.

Shortly after touching down, the royal couple was whisked away to Manhattan. Together, they stood holding hands and smiling before a large gathering of photographers and New York fans. While some people were concerned that Kate might not be able to make the trip because of all the pregnancy problems she has experienced, she arrived looking healthy and happy.

For the coupled entered The Carlyle hotel to rest and get ready for their visit to the states, Prince William told hotel staff that it was good to be in New York. Interestingly, someone who knows the couple well stated that this same hotel was Princess Diana’s favorite. Every suite of the hotel is lavish and unique, ensuring the royal couple will be pampered to the fullest extent.

Of course, because of Kate Middleton and Prince William being VIP guests of the hotel, additional security is being provided. As one hotel worker said, security for the couple is tighter than what is seen during the Met Gala.

This trip, Prince George was not in tow, instead staying home back in England. Although not confirmed, it is believed that the couple’s first child is being cared for by his grandmother Carole Middleton along with his designated nanny.

During the three-day visit, Prince William will visit the White House to meet both President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. Then on Monday, Kate will go to Harlem’s Northside Center for Child Development to spend time with the children there.

After her visit, she will meet up with her husband to attend a professional NBA game in Brooklyn, an event often attended by big name celebrities to include Beyonce and Jay Z. On Tuesday, the couple will spend time at the National September 11 Memorial Museum before heading home to England.
