Nicki Minaj Releases New Track ‘The Pinkprint Freestyle’ — Mentioning Checks Harambe!


Nicki Minaj, an American rapper and songwriter, has released a new track “The Pinkprint Freestyle” on SoundCloud to breathe a new life into the memory of a gorilla Harambe.

“I’m dragging these hoes like Harambe did the kid. Shut the club down, it was poppin’ and we slid,” she said.

“The Pinkprint Freestyle” has released just a day after the rapper teamed with Ariana Grande’s new music video for “Side to Side” which the pair performed at the VMAs in August.

The 33-years-old rapper commences a shout-out in the six-minute track with cooperator rapper Lil Wayne.

“It’s the female Jay,” Minaj raps. “I’m a brand according to what retail say. Yeah, my tours be selling out on presale day, plus I got the title ‘Queen,’ press replay,” the rapper continued: “I’m dragging these hoes like Harambe did the kid. Shut the club down, it was poppin’ and we slid.”

The songwriter is not the first artist to be inspired by Harambe’s legacy. Young Thug also released a gorilla track in the last of September. Moreover Minaj has featured a small role on comedy series “Barbershop: The Next Cut” which released on April 15, 2016.

The pop star’s last studio album “The Pinkprint” was released on Dec 12, 2014 has made several successful single tracks including “Only,” “All Things Go,” “Truffle Butter,” and “Anaconda.”

The rapper won a lot of awards including, 4 Billboard Music Awards, six American Music Awards, 10 BET Awards, 7 BET Hip Hop Awards, 3 MTV Europe Music Awards, 2 People’s Choice Awards, one Soul Train Music Award, 3 MTV Video Music Awards, and 4 Teen Choice Awards.
