Total Divas’ Eva Marie Fired from WWE

Eva Marie, The American actress, fitness model, professional wrestler and professional wrestling manager, has been suspended from the WWE after violating wellness policy on August 18.

A statement on the WWE’s website speaks, “WWE has suspended Natalie Coyle (Eva Marie) for 30 days effective immediately for her first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.”

In 2013, Marie signed with WWE and was assigned to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, to begin her training. In May, she was announced as part of WWE and E!’s new reality show entitled Total Divas that would feature behind the scenes footage of select WWE Divas and a look into their personal lives.

Marie made her main roster debut on the July 1 episode of Raw, in a backstage segment along with her fellow Total Divas co-stars. Marie accompanied Natalya to the ring on the July 4 episode of Superstars, where she defeated Naomi.

Followed a break from live television and after being drafted to SmackDown as part of the 2016 WWE draft which took place on July 19, Marie made her first appearance for the brand on July 26, where she debuted a new long introductory entrance while confronting the brand female talents, reestablishing herself as a heel. Through August, Marie began faking multiple events in order to avoid in–ring competition.

On August 18, Marie was suspended for 30 days after violating the company’s wellness policy. Eva Marie was originally scheduled to be at SummerSlam this Sunday but she will not be in presence due to her suspension. Eva Marie was supposed to be a part of a six-women tag team at SummerSlam but it will now be a three-on-two handicap match without her.
